Eliska is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes everyone is capable, whole, unique, and deserving of finding meaning in their own lives.

Eliska works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and she practices an eclectic approach to therapy based on each individual’s specific needs.  

In working with adolescents and families, Eliska has particular experience in treating self-esteem issues and eating disorders, navigating grief and changes in life, and preparing for the future. She has worked in various clinical settings, including treating adolescents at a higher level of care. Further, Eliska’s education in Art Therapy has equipped her with knowledge in utilizing expressive therapies with those that struggle with verbal communication.

Eliska also enjoys working with couples that are focused on building or rebuilding the foundation of their relationship, reducing conflict, and increasing their strengths as a couple. Eliska is trained in Gottman Methods for healthy relationships. Her clinical style is warm and empathetic, and integrates insight-oriented work with education on practical skills and techniques.

Eliska earned her Masters in Professional Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. Eliska’s training offered her a background in evidenced-based treatment, such as DBT and ACT. Working with Eliska, you can expect to learn concrete skills to improve your day-to-day quality of life, explore your emotions, behaviors, and relationships, and make tangible steps towards gaining control of your own life. Eliska recognizes the importance of healing through mind, body, and soul, and she looks forward to walking alongside you in navigating life’s challenges and in learning skills to improve communication, self-esteem, and self-awareness.

Outside of work, Eliska practices her own self-care through creating artwork, spending time in nature, exploring music, and caring for her adorable pets, Bear and Florence.
