Ann is a Licensed Social Worker with over 8 years of experience. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois State University and completed her Masters of Social Work from Aurora University. She believes in client centered therapy with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and mindfulness techniques. Ann believes a healthy body contributes to a healthy mind and therefore emphasizes the importance of the mind body connection.
She has worked in a variety of settings including not-for-profits, community mental health agencies and hospitals. She’s trained in individual counseling, group counseling and crisis intervention. She has experience working with people of all ages including children, teens and adults.
Ann provides a welcoming and non-judgmental space to collaborate on your treatment goals. She creates a safe place to explore and improve your life, work, relationships and everything in between. Your time together in therapy will provide you with coping skills and strategies to use in real life situations for years to come.
Outside of the office Ann enjoys reading, binge watching true crime documentaries and spending quality time with her husband, daughter and rescue pup!
