Christiana Romano, LPC
Christiana received her Masters in Counseling Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Christiana believes therapy fosters greater self-awareness and growth, allowing clients to more effectively manage the stress and anxiety that various transitions and life changes bring. Coming from a background in musical theatre and being a career changer herself, she understands the anxiety that can come from these types of transitions. Whether that be a new relationship, a break up, making a career change, adjusting to being a new parent, or learning to set boundaries, Christiana recognizes the support needed to cope during such unknown times. She enjoys helping clients navigate the experience of being lost, scared, and isolated. She provides a space to navigate these dynamics, recognizing that every individual enters therapy with their own past narratives, ideas, and assumptions. She brings humor, empowerment, and a level of directness into sessions. By building this foundation and gaining insight of oneself, Christiana believes clients can create positive change.
When Christiana is not at work, she loves to explore the Chicago restaurant scene and outdoor patios with her husband and mini Australian Shepherd, Riley!
