Esther holds a B.A. in Psychology from Lake Forest College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University of Chicago.
At Lake Forest College, Esther conducted research exploring the dynamics between language and relationship, sparking an interest in working with couples and families. Esther believes therapy can be a valuable guiding tool in navigating relationships and finding outlets for self-growth within these dynamics.
Additionally, she interned at the Lake County State Attorney’s Children’s Advocacy Center, providing her with the sensitivity and empathy necessary to work with young populations. She hopes to amplify the voices of children and teens through fostering a safe environment which promotes self-confidence.
Esther has a background in musical theater and worked at Walt Disney World as a character performer. As a member of the theater community, she has a deep understanding of the anxiety that can be produced in these intense environments. Esther connects with creative young adults and works with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, and are undergoing life transitions.
Outside of work, you can find Esther trying new recipes for dinner parties with her friends and family. She practices her own mindfulness through yoga and when she graduates intends to get certified as a yoga instructor.
