Jennifer Goss, LCPC
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times. If one only remembers to turn on the light.” While you may not see hope or a light at the end of your tunnel, I do. I will hold onto your hope and help you turn on your light.
Jennifer has been licensed since 2011 after obtaining her master’s degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University in Schaumburg, IL. Upon graduating with her master’s degree, she enrolled in Argosy’s doctoral program of Counselor Education and Supervision. Then, transferring to Adler University, Chicago, IL in 2019 to complete the same degree.
The population Jennifer works with are children (2-12), adolescents (13-18), young adults (19-24), adults, families, and couples. She has run many teen support groups, personal growth groups, and assertiveness training groups in her time.
Jennifer completed two internships as a legal advocate and a children’s counselor at two different women’s domestic abuse shelters while pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degrees. During her internship, Jennifer was tasked with providing the shelter staff, interns, and volunteers with a child and adolescent trauma training. She comes from a private practice in Wisconsin to be closer to her family here in Illinois. In WI, she worked with children, adolescents, young adults, families, and couples. Her goal is to make sure each individual is heard and supported in a safe and nonjudgemental environment.
Jennifer wants to help you be your best self with confidence and security in a supportive and empowering space. Afterall, you are trusting her with your inner most thoughts. Together, we will work to create insight and awareness into yourself, your family, or relationship!

In her free time Jennifer loves to be outdoors in anyway possible. Hobbies include cooking, trying new restaurants, travelling, reading, movies and tv shows, and most of all, taking her fluffy dog wherever she can.
