Jessica Dearcangelis, Graduate Psychotherapy Intern
Jessica is currently completing her masters in clinical mental health counseling with Northwestern University. She believes everyone has the innate ability to heal, and she supports individuals with compassion and patience as they tap into that ability and make new meaning of their lives. She works to guide clients toward greater self-understanding and peace. Before beginning her masters, Jessica studied and conducted research in neuroscience and psychopharmacology. Her academic background inspires her interest about the dialogue between mind and body while her love of painting and singing remind her of the healing power of self-expression and imagination. The influence of art and science show up in the therapy room through her curiosity about the unknown and appreciation of imagination in facilitating clients’ change.
Jessica sees clients on a sliding scale based on income at $30-$50 per session.
