Nina believes that therapy can be life-changing for anyone; no matter the size or intensity of the stressors in one’s life. She believes that a large part of successful therapy stems from having a good relationship between the client and therapist. Because of that, Nina strives to be a safe space for her clients where they can talk freely and without the fear of being judged. Nina leans into the concepts of CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to support her clients in achieving the change they want to see.
Nina received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bradley University and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. She specializes in and has experience working with anxiety, eating disorders, interpersonal skills and the LGBTQIA+ population. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and is passionate about helping people heal from their trauma.
