Jessica DeArcangelis

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Whether we’re confronted with compounding stress, relationship difficulties, or the impact of our past, we all have seasons of overwhelm and confusion. At these times in life, therapy provides a nonjudgmental place to freely explore your struggles and learn new ways to manage life’s challenges. Jessica works to provide a compassionate, safe space where clients can unpack what’s burdening them, understand the patterns they fall into, and work toward the growth they hope to see. Her style is down-to-earth, patient, and collaborative. She is specialized in working with trauma, depression, and anxiety.

Jessica is a Level 1 Trained Internal Family Systems therapist and also draws from relational psychodynamic, creative arts, and mindfulness-based models. An awareness of the impact of systemic oppression on clients’ lived experiences informs her work. She received her master’s in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University and bachelor’s in neuroscience from Knox College.

Executive Functioning Coaching:

In addition to providing therapy, Jessica also provides executive functioning coaching for clients who struggle with skills like focus, planning, and time management. She draws on her experience as a tutor and teaching assistant to support clients with education and skill building exercises that help them meet their short and long term goals. She works both with clients with disorders that impact executive function such as ADHD as well as those without a specific diagnosis. Typically, executive functioning coaching consists of an initial assessment session followed by chunks of 3-4 sessions to learn and integrate skills.
