Oftentimes we find ourselves at a crossroads, unsure of the next step but aware that something needs to change. For some, therapy can be a part of that next step forward.
Wes approaches therapy from an intersectional feminist and trauma-centered perspective, integrating theory with clients lived experiences to offer appropriate, culturally sensitive treatment. He believes that therapy is for everyone, and strives to provide a safe space where clients can work towards healing and achieving their personal goals. His clinical style is warm and collaborative, helping identify and build upon client strengths to foster change while challenging behavior and thought patterns that are no longer effective.
Wes has experience working with adults across the lifespan, and is passionate about supporting those who are:
-Struggling with trauma and/or PTSD
-Struggling with anxiety and depression
-Members of marginalized communities
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Wes is acutely aware of how difficult it can be to find affirming healthcare providers. He strives to provide all of his clients with a caring, safe space to explore mental health struggles and identities without judgment.
On his days off, you’ll find Wes taking long walks with a good cup of coffee and his dog Bailey. He enjoys practicing his own mindfulness through hiking, DIY home improvement projects, and woodworking.
