Megan Madera (she/her) is a bilingual (Spanish/English) speaker and an experienced Licensed Social Worker. Megan works with teens/adults/couples impacted by strained mental health, domestic violence, trauma, and grief/loss. During sessions, we will dive into experiences that impact functioning, relationships, and overall well-being to create a collaborative plan to improve areas of concern. She uses motivational interviewing and strengths based perspective in her practice. In sessions, clients will walk away knowing they are the best expert of their experiences and Megan will be a guide to lead to a client-determined outcome.
For the past decade, she has specialized in a range of areas including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, domestic violence, grief/loss, immigration, bicultural identities and perinatal mental health. She is trained and certificated by Postpartum Support International (PSI) and focuses on perinatal and individual mental health, supporting individuals and families through reproductive challenges and the transition to parenthood. Megan works with a strengths-based perspective with clients to identify patterns and continue to grow in their self-determination. Therapy services provided in Spanish, English, in-person, and virtually.
