Torie is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern currently pursuing her Master's degree at Roosevelt University. Coming to the counseling field as a second career after pursuing a background in the arts, she brings valuable real-world life experience into her clinical practice. Torie is passionate about supporting individuals of all ages—including young children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families—as they grow and deepen their self-understanding.Torie’s clinical experience encompasses working with clients navigating deep trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She also holds dedicated experience supporting caregivers of children with autism, foster youth, and adoptive parents, bringing a nuanced understanding to the complex dynamics and systems these families navigate. Her counseling approach blends evidence-based interventions with a creative perspective, allowing her to adapt care to meet each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals.
Torie believes that therapy is a safe, collaborative space where real growth happens when clients feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. She strives to build authentic therapeutic relationships rooted in warmth, empathy, and genuine connection.
Torie offers both in-person and telehealth sessions and is committed to creating an affirming, compassionate environment for clients, couples, and families from all walks of life.
