Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

All PHC clinicians are highly trained and able to treat our clients that are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions and/or mood disorders. Please continue to explore our bios if you require a more specialized treatment plan.

Sealia believes that meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. As a Psychotherapist at Pure Health Center, she creates a compassionate, collaborative space where clients can explore life's challenges with curiosity rather than judgment. Whether clients are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity and values, relationship difficulties, or the impact of complex trauma, Sealia is committed to helping them build insight, resilience, and a stronger connection to themselves.

Sealia takes an eclectic approach to counseling, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to meet each client's unique needs, goals, and strengths. She believes that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and values collaborating with clients to create an approach that feels authentic and effective for them. At the heart of her work is the belief that connection, trust, and curiosity are essential to meaningful growth and healing.

As a biracial, first-generation college graduate, Sealia brings both professional training and lived experience to her work. She understands the unique challenges that can come with navigating multiple identities, balancing cultural expectations, and forging one's own path. She is especially passionate about supporting first-generation individuals, young adults, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the relationships that shape their lives.

Clients appreciate Sealia's warm, collaborative style and her ability to incorporate humor and moments of lightness into the therapeutic process. She believes that even while working through life's most difficult experiences, there is room for authenticity, hope, and genuine human connection.

Sealia earned her M.Ed. in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys exploring Chicago with friends, attempting to master yoga (emphasis on attempting), trying new recipes, and discovering her next favorite TV show to binge.
