Eliska is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with adolescents and adults who feel they are lacking control in life, whether that be difficulty in building meaningful relationships or issues with impulse control.  With significant experience treating issues like OCD, Eating Disorders, as well as Mood and Personality Disorders, Eliska feels drawn to working with clients who struggle with feeling broken, misunderstood or even unfixable.

Eliska’s style can be described as warm, friendly and combines insight-oriented work with education on practical skills to improve your day-to-day quality of life and relationships and make tangible steps towards gaining control of your life. She will work with you to explore ways in which past experiences impact your current worldview, and identify ways to challenge thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you on your life path.  Her work often focuses on exploring questions about human morality, purpose and ones place in the world.

‍Eliska earned her Masters in Professional Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University. This education equipped her with knowledge in utilizing expressive therapies with those that struggle with verbal communication. Additionally, Eliska’s training offered her a background in evidenced-based treatment, such as DBT and ACT.

Outside of work, Eliska practices her own self-care through creating artwork, spending time in nature, reading, and traveling.
